there are a brother and sister mountain lion that reside at the desert museum. They are hard to spot unless you are there very early in the morning. As the temperatures rise they like to sleep under some of the trees and shrubs in their habitat

Tucson has a place called the Arizona sonoran desert museum. It has everything that is indigenous to the sonoran desert. This little guy just happened to perch on a branch right near me shortly after i set up my camera.

As you stand back to look at the memorial that is where the twin towers stood across the bay. You can see where they are building the new building.

this is a memorial to 911 on Staten island. These are all those who lost their lives that day. They decided to make them in the shape of postcards.

the trip out in the harbor to see the statue of liberty was a short one. You dont expect her to be as tall as she is but she is 10 stories high. quite impressive to say the least

Another reflection at the 911 memorial. The day was crisp and sunny. The throngs of people just added to the realization that there are so many of us that truly appreciate all the work that went into this memorial and what it stands for.

Inside the memorial area there are reflections of all the buildings all around you. The reflecting pools are the best but this one caught my eye and also includes a self portrait.

As we walked across the brooklyn bridge the views are fantastic. This is just one of those views as you get close to the center of the bridge
